University Offers Update February 2023

2023开门红，我们在此很高兴地和大家分享常州威雅十二年级学生们的大学录取情况。尽管近几个月来他们身处充满挑战的环境，但学生们的努力依旧得到了回报，收到了来自世界各地著名大学的录取通知书。

We are delighted to share the outstanding offers that our Upper Sixth have received from world-class universities around the World. In spite of the challenging circumstances that they have faced in recent months, students’ hard work is being rewarded.

令人骄傲的是，常州威雅Turner学院的顾同学和陈同学，分别获得了来自牛津大学和剑桥大学的录取通知书。这份荣誉昭示了他们强劲扎实的学术功底，可喜可贺。

We are incredibly proud of all our students and the academic excellence they display. We would also like to mention G. Gu (Turner House) and J. Chen (Turner House), who have received offers from University of Oxford and University of Cambridge respectively this year, demonstrating their outstanding academic abilities.

截至目前，学生们已经收获了来自英国、美国、加拿大和澳大利亚等总计221份录取通知书。这其中不乏多所全球知名大学。

Students have already amassed 221 university offers, including from the UK, USA, Canada and Australia. These include several of the top global universities.  

录取小结 Highlights include:

. 超过80%的学生进入世界排名前100的院校

Over 80% of students has been accepted by Top 100 universities.

. 25%的学生进入世界排名前20的院校

25% of students has been accepted by Top 20 universities.

学生们收到了来自198份英国的大学录取通知书。超过80%的学生收获罗素集团院校录取，超过10%的学生收获G5院校的录取。

Our students have been in receipt of 198 exceptional offers across UK.  Well over 80% of students get into Russell group, while over 10% of whom get admitted into G5 super elite.

此外，我们的学生们收到了不少来自美国的录取，其中包括洛杉矶音乐学院、宾夕法尼亚州立大学和俄亥俄州立大学等公立常春藤院校。

The students have also received a several offers from prestigious North American universities. These include Pennsylvania State University and Ohio State University and the Los Angeles College of Music.

常州威雅致力于为学生提供广泛的课程选择，让学生能够尽情追逐自己的梦想和热爱。学生们在艺术与音乐专业院校申请上的硕果也恰恰反映了这一点。学生们共收到39份音乐或艺术方向的录取。其中，16份来自专业的音乐学院和艺术学院，如北方皇家音乐学院、美国MI现代音乐学院、纽约视觉艺术学院和伦敦艺术大学等。

The wide-ranging holistic education that we offer at WAS Changzhou allows students to follow their passions. This is reflected in 39 musical and performing arts offers in total received by our students, including 16 offers from conservatoires such as Royal Northern College of Music，MI College of Contemporary Music，School of Visual Arts and University of the Arts London.

学生们在大学专业申请上的多元选择也映射出了我校强大的学术支持和践行全人教育的丰富经验。今年我们收到的大学录取涵盖的专业方向多达94个，如自然科学相关课程、工程、电子、金融相关课程、戏剧与表演、体育科技、规划与房地产、社会学、设计、建筑学、插画、数字媒体、全球可持续发展等。

The strong academics and holistic education at our school are also reflected by our students applying to study 94 different subjects. Students have received offers to study courses in Natural Sciences related courses, Engineering, Electronics, Finance and many other related courses, Theatre & Performance, Sports Technology, Planning and Real Estate, Sociology, Design, Architecture, Illustration, Digital Media, Global Sustainable Development and so on.
