1  Vision&Curriculum

GSN is modeled after premier college preparatory schools located within the United States.  The school’s curriculum is based upon the American Education Reaches Out (AERO) academic standards. The four core academic areas of instruction are English, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies. The school’s curriculum is delivered in a systematic manner by qualified teachers, utilizing imported textbooks and classroom resources. Additionally, all students attend classes in physical education, technology, art, music, dance and library research.

乔治亚学校秉承包容、挑战、成功的办学理念，为幼儿园至高中学生提供优质的国际教育资源，可让学生在任何一学段衔接世界各地的学校。学校采用外教全英文教学，着重培养学生语言能力、思辨能力、创新思维、团队合作的能力，塑造孩子自信健康的人格，为日后进入海外顶尖大学并成为具有国际视野的优秀世界公民打下基础。学校引进以美国共同核心州立标准为基础的优质国际课程，开设英语、数学、科学和社会学四门核心学科，以及图书馆、美术、音乐、表演、体育、信息技术、Tribes品德培养和汉语等科目，并为英语基础薄弱的学生提供英文强化课程。9-12年级高中学生完成AP课程。

2  Teachers

At the heart of Georgia School Ningbo is a dedicated, inspiring and highly qualified faculty. The GSN teaching team is comprised of 30 foreign teachers and 5 Chinese language teachers. Foreign teachers hold teaching credentials from the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom and other English-speaking countries. The majority of the school’s teachers are American citizens. All subject area teachers hold teacher certifications and degrees within their area of specialty and 53% of GSN teachers hold advanced degrees. On average, a GSN teachers possess 12 years of professional teaching experience. All teachers deliver the school’s curriculum in a creative, vibrant and engaging manner to students.

学校教学团队由近30名外方和5名中方教师组成，均具备相关教学资质，其中持有硕士学位的老师占比53%，平均拥有12年的专业教学经验。所有老师用一种创新、生动和参与性强的方式把学校的课程内容教授于学生。

3  Testing

GSN utilizes the Northwest Evaluation Association (NWEA), Measure of Academic Progress (MAP) assessment tool to gauge student progress towards expected curricular outcomes. GSN is authorized by the US College Board to offer Advanced Placement (AP) courses and tests for high school students within an onsite testing center.  Students from grades 8-12 participate in PSAT and SAT examinations as an key component of the university admissions process.

经美国西北测评协会（NWEA）和美国大学理事会（College Board）授权，学生参加与美国学校同步的考试，以及PSAT、SAT和AP在校考试。毕业证等同于美国本土中学颁发的证书，在全球范围内受到认可。

4  After School Activities

GSN’s After School Activites Program consists of a range of extracurricular options including sporting, academic, artistic, technology oriented and cultural activities. All GSN students are expected to participate in ASAs each week. ASA students compete in tournaments, contests and fairs such as Model United Nations, Debate competitions, Kids Read and athletic tournaments. GSN is proud to offer students ASA access to a professionally designed skatepark/pumptrack and a golf driving range.

学校开设了高尔夫、滑板、大小提琴必修课，模拟联合国、科学探索、辩论、机器人、小语种、飞盘、足球、网球等丰富的选修课程，以及拥有中国首家SBSX滑板赛道公园和高尔夫学院。

5  Guidance and 

University Counseling

The school’s Guidance Counselor facilitates college planning and student career decision-making. Additionally, the GSN Guidance Office oversees the school’s Tribes program and attends to the social, emotional and learning needs of students across all grade levels.

学校升学指导中心为每位学生配备升学老师，全程一对一指导，制定适合孩子的升学规划。迄今为止，我校毕业生已收到包括杜克大学、纽约大学、伦敦大学学院、爱丁堡大学、清华大学、多伦多大学等全球排名前30的顶尖大学录取通知书。

Skateboard Supercross or SBSX is the world's premier league for skateboard racing and skate education. The GSN Zhicheng Skatepark Pumptrack is acertified SBSX track (www.sbsx.com). Now that skateboarding is an Olympic sport, interest in skateboarding in China and around the world is increasing signifcantly. GSN is proud to own and operate the first SBSX Pumptrack Skatepark in China!

SBSX是集合滑板竞速赛道场地和滑板教学的全球领先品牌。乔治亚学校的SBSX滑板赛道由美国专业滑板赛道设计公司进行定制化设计并由美国大工建造。滑板目前已经成为奥运项目，无论是在中国还是其他国家，对滑板的关注在未来几年将显著提高。学校非常荣幸能拥有和运行中国地区首个滑板赛道公园。

The sport of Golf is enjoyed by individuals of all ages and fosters coordination, flexibility and refinement of fine motor skills. GSN offers students access to a professional class driving range and putting green area. Students are trained in proper form and technique by experienced Golf Professionals contracted by the school.

GSN's Cafeteria sources seasonal vegetables and fruits from the organic farm wholly owned by the school. Cuisine served at GSN's cafeteria includes Asian and Western dishes, salads, soups and fresh fruit each day. Daily student snacks include yogurt, breads, milk and fresh fruit. The school's cafeteria was awarded a rating of "A" at the city level and "AAAA" by provincial inspectors. These rankings are the highest achievable for a school cafeteria. The school employs a full-time Chef, Chef David, having international experience at a Michelin star-rated restaurant in Japan and overseas experience at a world-class chain of international hotels. 

应季蔬果来自于学校自有的布兰登堡有机农场，占地450亩。学校餐厅提供精心调配的中西式自助餐和日常点心，聘请全职米其林星级厨师，拥有在日本米其林餐厅和其他世界级酒店的海外工作经验。
